Credit Suisse Youth Barometer 2022

“Insecure instead of carefree: Young people in times of crisis” – this is the title of this year’s Credit Suisse Youth Barometer.

The long-running study reveals what concerns young adults in Switzerland, the US, Singapore and Brazil, what hopes and concerns they have and what they expect from their working environment and society in the future. The survey also asked about current issues, such as the crisis of democracy or the war against Ukraine. Whereas two years ago the pandemic and sociopolitical issues were the main focus of the young people surveyed, this year’s results show a clear trend toward material concerns and an associated increased need for security. The 2022 survey is the tenth since 2010.
