Where does Switzerland's healthcare system stand after 2 years of pandemic? The Health Monitor 2022 provides answers.

People in Switzerland are agreed that the country has coped well with the COVID crisis and the healthcare system passed the test put to it by the pandemic.

This is one of the findings of the Health Monitor Switzerland 2022 conducted by gfs.bern on behalf of Interpharma.

The majority of respondents also say that their impression of the healthcare system has improved as a result of the pandemic. Voters want quality in the healthcare system. This includes freedom to choose one’s doctor, rapid access to medicines and greater emphasis being placed on quality than on cost considerations.

The survey for the Health Monitor Switzerland was conducted among 1200 Swiss voters between 21 February and 19 March 2022 in the form of personal (face-to-face) interviews.

You can read more on the respondents’ clear demands in the Interpharma publication (available in French and German).
