Hospital and Clinic Barometer 2021 - Good marks for managing the COVID crisis

05.10.2021 | gfs.bern on behalf of H+ Hospitals in Switzerland

The Hospital and Clinic Barometer 2021 examines the perceptions and attitudes of Swiss voters on the subject of hospitals/clinics. It preovides answers to questions such as: How do voters rate the work and the role of hospitals and clinics in managing the COVID-19 crisis? Are financial resources properly distributed?

The voters surveyed consider the hospitals and clinics to be key players in dealing with the COVID 19 crisis and attest to the fact that they are doing a good job. With regard to the distribution of financial resources, the respondents are satisfied as it is. More clearly than before, they want a hospital in every region. In the eyes of the respondents, there must be a facility available in the immediate vicinity for emergencies, and increasingly also for recurring outpatient treatments and births.

The results of the H+ Hospital and Clinic Barometer 2021 are based on a representative survey of 1200 voters from all over Switzerland, which gfs.bern conducted on behalf of H+. The survey was carried out between 6 and 31 May 2021 with face-to-face interviews.

The complete results of the study can be found in the final report (in German) or in the press release (in German).
